Masked God werd reeds in juli uitgebracht. Ik pik het hier toch even om omwille van de release van de 7" op 3 december via Consouling Sounds. Wat begint als een indrigende etnische soundscape (vul zelf maar de etniciteit in) gaat over in een hondsbrutaal blastbeat beest dat de grenzen tussen black metal en grindcore doet vermelten om dan terug de ambient kant op te gaan. Een vermelting ook van de stijlen van beide bands waar je dan venzelfsprekend snel de stempel post metal op zou drukken. Make no mistake, dit huwelijk gaat een stap verder.
De bijhorende video is trouwens van de hand van Stefaan Temmerman, jawel, de man ook achter de visuals van een zekere band genaamd Amenra.
Masked God (7") verschijnt op 3 december via Consouling Sounds. De oplage is gelimiteerd tot 300 ex.!!

Cross Bringer is a new band founded by members of Euglena and The Homeless is Dead in 2019. Treha Sektori is the dark ambient musical project of French musician and visual artist Dan Sora, aka Dehn Sora, also behind the black metal project Throane. Though the date of formation is unknown, the project's first album 'Sorieh' was released in 2009. Since then, Treha Sektori has released two further full-length albums as well as a range of collaborative and experimental efforts including the live album 'Acermeh' in 2016, as well as collaborations with Amenra, Oathbreaker and others.
