De ideale muziek voor een druilerige dag als deze. Vrolijk wordt je er niet van, maar als je je ervoor open stelt, dan laat de sfeer die TWR hier neerzet je zeker niet onberoerd. Paoha (luister hieronder) blend op een pakkende wijze Oosterse en Westerse invloeden. De klanken van de oed die mooi samengaan met piano en keys resulteren bij aanvang in een gothis americana gevoel dat verder in het nummer een meer klassieke touch krijgt. Theodore Wild Ride started from the collaboration between French keyboardists Christine Ott (regular collaborator of Yann Tiersen, Tindersticks, Oiseaux-Tempête...), Mathieu Gabry (Snowdrops) and Oed player Ophir Levy. Theodore Wild Ride celebrates musical freedom and redefines the relationship between space and time with a special, unexpected orchestration. Their first joint album is released on Icarus Records in collaboration with Consouling Sounds. The album unfolds like a magical film, which can be set in the vast American landscapes of bygone days as well as in a post-apocalyptic future. This co-release will see the light of day on the 1st of October 2021.
