Daar is The Bottom Line weer met een nieuwe single. Na het uitbrengen van het album No Vacation in 2019, blijven de jongens ook in 2020 niet stil zitten. Eerder dit jaar werd het liedje Happy al gereleased, en nu is het de beurt aan Youth. De band zegt zelf dat "Youth marks the end of the No Vacation cycle". Normaal stond er deze maand ook een tour gepland in Europa, maar door het coronavirus is deze uitgesteld naar het einde van het jaar. Wie de jongens aan het werk wil zien, zal op 19 december moeten afzakken naar JC Bouckenborgh in Antwerpen.

Zanger Cal Amies zegt het volgende over Youth: “Youth is a song I wrote a long time ago, it’s about the realisation that I ruined a lot of my younger years as a kid due to letting things get to me way too easily. I remember being on holiday with my parents and hating it, being super miserable the whole time. When any other kid should be grateful for these things. I really regret it now."
"I was a moody teenager, thought the world was out to get me, and hated everything. and it wasn’t until later in life I realised what a waste of my early days that was. I wanted to portray my anger into the song and I think unintentionally that’s where the excessive amount of swearing came into it. I wanted to explain that I’m probably not the only person that this situation has happened to, and it’s okay for it to happen. But also wanted to express the fact that I have now changed into a much happier person.”
