Eerst onbevooroordeeld luisteren en dan pas oordelen! Yep, dit is Taylor Swift, bij ons vooral bekend als het synthpop prinsesje dat bubblegum muziek maakt en er gewoonlijk ook heel 'plastic' uitziet, alsof ze net uit de verpakking komt. Maarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Swift starte ooit als erg succesvolle en gerespecteerde country(pop) zangeres/songwriter én kreeg ook de grootste critici aan haar kant met de 'zusteralbums' Folklore en Evermore uit 2020. Allemaal goed en wel, veel blabla, dus moet je eigenlijk gewoon even naar deze practhige, weemoedige folkballad luisteren. Het nummer zelf, de stem, de finesses ... simpelweg prachtig!
