Niets beter dan je favoriete groep die een nieuw liedje uitbrengt wanneer je ziek thuis zit. Of wel? Ja, tuurlijk! Want samen met de release van Weapon kondigde Stick To Your Guns ook een nieuw album aan. Spectre komt deze zomer uit, op 29 juli. Vorig jaar bracht de groep nog een EP uit maar het was intussen sinds 2017 geleden dat hun laatste full length album True View uit kwam.
Ik kijk alvast héél erg uit naar het nieuwe album en hoop dat we voor de release nog enkele songs te horen krijgen. Stick To Your Guns speelt op 17 juni trouwens op Graspop Metal Meeting in België en is op 24 juni te zien op Jera On Air in Nederland!

Since emerging in 2003, Southern California’s Stick To Your Guns—Jesse Barnett [vocals], Andrew Rose [bass], George Schmitz [drums], Chris Rawson [guitar], and Josh James [guitar]—have merged socially conscious and outspoken lyricism with hardcore energy and hammering metallic force. Moreover, 2017 saw Stick To Your Guns make history, becoming “the first American hardcore band to play East Africa” in Nairobi, Kenya. Along the way, Stick To Your Guns toured across the globe with everyone from Every Time I Die and The Amity Affliction to BlessTheFall and Being As An Ocean in addition to multiple stints on the Vans Warped Tour.
