C'mon boys!

In case you missed it, up-and-coming Country sensation Sophia Scott has released her sultry music video for brand-new single “Boots, Jeans, & Jesus.” Serving up Western-grunge, the official clip premieredon July 20 on YouTube. Directed by CeCe Dawson and filmed at an old motel in her home state of Colorado, the video brings to life Scott’s straight-from-the-heart songwriting and bold but vulnerable vocals. Sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video, Scott also jumped on YouTube Live to chat with fans from across the world.
EMPIRE’s breakout Country artist Sophia Scott may originally hail from Boulder, CO, but the singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist found a home in Nashville by continuing a time-honored tradition of storytelling with no shortage of gusto and grit. When it comes to her music, she writes from the heart, shoots from the hip, and holds nothing back. Instead of retreating, she confronts heartbreak head-on and emboldens audiences with the kind of confidence only earned by a lifelong grind. After independently racking up over 92 MILLION career streams and amassing over ONE MILLION monthly listeners, Sophia Scott properly introduced herself with her eagerly anticipated debut EP, One Of These Days, available now. The six-track collection of emotional snapshots illustrates Scott’s relatable, coming-of-age journey and illuminates her limitless musicality which flows seamlessly through Country, Pop, Rock, and R&B. Outsider calls it an “emotional, fun, exploratory masterpiece” and says her “performances on this EP call to mind Carrie Underwood‘s drama and challenging vocals, combined with Shania Twain‘s particular sparkle.” CMT notes that “Nashville newcomer Sophia Scott proves she has a bright future ahead in the genre with her debut EP, One Of These Days.” The EP has also received praise from PEOPLE Magazine, American Songwriter, E! News, Entertainment Tonight, and more. With her fearless first full-length body of work, Scott emphasizes her position as a Country artist-to-watch with a promising career in Nashville and beyond for many years to come. Following the release of One Of These Days, she made an appearance on Spotify’s Fresh Finds stage at CMA Fest. An in-demand songwriter and collaborator, Scott also inked a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music and Ross Golan’s Unknown Music Publishing in 2022. Stay tuned for more to come.
