Wij hebben op de lagere school geleerd dat titels voor singles kort en catchy moeten zijn. Het is maar één van de vele regels die het Griekse Scar Of The Sun aan hun laars lappen. En wanneer we er een schitterende melodic death metal track als Quantum Leap Zero II: Transition To Turbulence voor in de plaats krijgen, wie zijn wij dan om te gaan liggen neuten.
En al zeker niet wanneer de bijhorende videoclip ons eraan helpt herinneren hoezeer we reikhalzend uitkijken naar de terugkeer van zweterige concerten, waarbij we omringd door welruikende metalheads zonder coronamuilkorven weer volop van onze favoriete muziek kunnen genieten.
Quantum ... is de derde single uit het nieuwe, derde, album van de band, getiteld Inertia dat op 14 mei uitkomt via Napalm Records.
Eerder daaruit werden al de tracks I Am the Circle en Inertia naar voor geschoven.

This was filmed at our last show before COVID hit, a magnificent sold out show as direct support to the legendary Rotting Christ in front of 2,700 people in Athens, Greece. This is probably my favorite song on Inertia and definitely the one that I am most looking forward to playing live again when the time comes!"
