Rotting Christ, de black metal specialisten uit Griekenland, bestaan inmiddels maar liefst 35 jaar. Al 35 jaar lopen de broers Sakis en Themis Tholis voorop in de optocht tegen alles wat heilig is. Van hun redelijk rustige begin in de jaren 90 met Satanas Tedeum en Passage to Arcturo tot aan Rituals en The Heretics of het vorig jaar uitgebrachte Pro Xristou hebben de mannen laten zien dat zij terecht worden gerekend tot de top van de black metal wereld.
Om hun 35-jarig bestaan te vieren, heeft Rotting Christ een iconisch concert gegeven van ruimt 2 uur in het Lycabettus Hill Theater in hun thuisstad Athene. Daarvan is een prachtige registratie gemaakt; 35 Years of Evil Existence - Live in Lycabettus komt 4 april a.s. uit via Season of Mist.
Nadat enige tijd terug de eerste single van dat live-album is uitgebracht, volgt nu de tweede: Demonon Vrosis, of, zoals ze 't in mooi Grieks zeggen/schrijven: Δαιμόνων Βρώσης.
Begin april gaat Rotting Christ van start met een Europese tour, waarbij ze openen voor niemand minder dan Satyricon en Behemoth. Geen wonder dat deze tour The Onholy Trinity heet. Op 13 april komt deze tour naar 013 in Tilburg en uiteraard zal Brothers in Raw daarbij zijn.

This extraordinary, two-hour concert spanned their illustrious career, featuring timeless classics from their early raw sound to the more recent 'Hellenic' anthems including "The Raven" and "Demonon Vrosis."
