Nog een band waar ik persoonlijk nog nooit van gehoord had, maar met een titel als "A Virtual World", ging ik er van uit dat dit wel iets voor mij zou zijn. En ik kreeg nog gelijk ook! Metalite klinkt een beetje als een mengeling van Amaranthe en Unleash The Archers, als je deze bands kent, dan weet je dat dit niet slecht kan zijn. Ik was nu niet vanaf de eerste seconde weggeblazen van dit nummer, maar wanneer het refrein begint, lijkt het wel alsof alles naar een hoger niveau getild wordt en dan klinkt het wel echt geweldig. Wanneer ik dan verder ga luisteren naar de andere nummers van deze band, moet ik toegeven dat ik geen extreem "wauw"-gevoel krijg, maar er zit echt wel iets in. Ik ga deze Zweden dan ook zeker in de gaten houden.

Metalite was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2015 when Edwin Premberg met Emma Bensing. He presented his musical ideas and vision to her, and she agreed to join the band. The goal was to write and record melodic and memorable metal songs with a modern and fresh sound.
With Metalites expertly use of electronic elements, influenced by the Trance Era of early 21st century, sphaeric layers mix with flirring sequences and stoic beats fit like a second skin for the massive, melodic and outrageous catchy soundwall. But also the new singer Erica Ohlsson shapes that energetic sound.
