Misschien ben je nog niet bekend met het uit de UK afkomstige Memorist, maar daar komt dit jaar ongetwijfeld verandering in. Deze vrij nieuwe alternatieve metalband tekende onlangs bij Year Of The Rat Records en bracht vorige week de nieuwe single The Empiric uit, inclusief bijbehorende video dat debuteerde op het kanaal van Dreambound. The Empiric volgt de drie eerdere singles van de band op, Loss, Frustration en Love ,en laat een sterke groei horen in het geluid van Memorist. Een vette melodische track met de nodige heaviness, elektronische invloeden, sterke vocalen en een catchy tekst die het beluisteren waard is.
Meer singles voor dit jaar staan op de planning en ik ben er alvast heel benieuwd naar.
