Op een (grote, jaja!) schare diehard fans na, weet zo goed als niemand dat deze band nog bestaat, laat staan degelijke zalen met gemak uitverkoopt én dan nog eens erg boeiende en druk bezochte weekends organiseert in diverse landen.
Live staan ze er nog steeds als een wolkenkrabber, niet in het minst met dank aan de uitstekende stem én (wel eens over-the-top) performance van frontman Steve Hogarth. Compleet andere koek dan wat hun ex-frontman uit lang vervlogen tijden probeert. Anyway, dit nummer van hun laatste album AHBID laat een minder genuanceerde en ruwere Hogarth horen en is zeker niet hun beste song, wel vintage Marillion, onnavolgbaar.

From Friday, March 17th, to Sunday, March 19th, 2023, the Marillion weekend took place at Center Parcs, Port Zélande, The Netherlands.
On Saturday night, Marillion performed their latest album “An Hour Before It’s Dark” in its entirety. Their impressive live shows, with stunning projections and laser effects, add to Marillion’s reputation as being one of the leading musicians of today.
