Het is al eind oktober, hoog tijd dus om in de kerstsfeer te komen? Volgens Majestica alvast wel! Ghost Of Chrismas Past is nog maar het begin, want de band werkt namelijk aan een heel kerstalbum. Dit album, A Christmas Carol, komt uit op 4 december en kan je nu al pre-orderen als je wil.
Chris David had het volgende te zeggen over het aankomende album: "If you know the story of ”A Christmas Carol” I think the title ’Ghost of Christmas Past’, tells you what the song is all about. But if you don’t, it is about Ebenezer Scrooge's past, what happened in his early years and how he became the greedy lonely man he is. The music shows off many elements you can expect from the record. It is a symphonic power metal Christmas musical album so of course you will hear sleigh bells, glockenspiel, recognisable Christmas melodies and an appearance of ”The Majestic Choir”. But it is also a MAJESTICA album and I promise you that you will hear that as well!"

Majestica (formerly ReinXeed) is a symphonic/power metal band from Boden, Sweden. They were formed in 2004 by vocalist Tommy Johansson. They are influenced by soundtrack movies such as The Lord of the Rings and bands like Helloween with Michael Kiske, and Rhapsody of Fire.
In 2008, Majestica released their first studio album The Light on Rivel Records. This helped the band land an appearance in Japan where they gained fans. Their second album, Higher, has more mature keyboards effects. The band has seven full studio albums out.
