Sounds | Jinjer - Green Serpent

Jinjer's new single, “Green Serpent”, is prime preparation for the band’s new full-length. The song begins with thick grooves and calm, clear vocals by matchless vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk, before transforming into a furious steamroller shortly after. Once more, Jinjer nails their balance of various influences, defying all rules and setting their own path. “Green Serpent” has premiered alongside a blistering official music video.

Jinjer reigns as one of the most exciting and promising acts in the current scene! After releasing their chart-topping studio album, Wallflowers, in 2021, which was hailed as “… one of the finest – and most important – metal releases of 2021” by KERRANG! (UK) as well as “a progressive masterpiece” by New Noise Magazine (US), the four-piece entered stages at Europe’s biggest festivals, such as Wacken, Download and Rock am Ring, just to name a few. With the announcement of their upcoming record Duél, to be released on February 7, 2025 via Napalm Records, Jinjer justifies their reputation and delivers an eleven-track offering loaded with technical grooves, heavy progressive passages and brutal vocals destined to drop jaws.
