Hier bij ons wordt het langzaam maar zeker kouder. "Winter is coming!", wordt er dan wel eens gezegd. Waar het nog kouder is, is in Finland. En wat is een ideale manier om jezelf dan warm te houden? Lijf en leden en vooral je hoofd heen en weer schudden op een stevige portie Thrash Metal. En daarvoor willen wij u graag Ground Zero aanraden, de debuutsingle van de relatief jonge Finse band Indemon. Het is de voorloper van hun debuut EP, Fear of Living, die uit zal komen op 18 maart 2022.
Niets grensverleggend hier maar zeker wel metal met ballen die zeker in de smaak zal vallen bij fans van Slayer, Sepultura ea.
Heeft er eigenlijk iemand al aan die jongens doorgegeven dat hun logo nèt iets teveel lijkt op dat van Iron Maiden? Ik stel alleen maar vast ...

INDEMON was started by Santeri Liesmala and Patrik Kuitunen in the fall of 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. After a few rehearsals it was clear that the project had potential to be more than just a project. Singer Joose Riihelд joined the band shortly after, as the guys knew each other from past bands.
The missing piece was yet to be found, but after a brief search, it was clear that bass player Sasu Savolainen was the right person for the job. Making and recording the Fear of Living EP began immediately. The EP came together effortlessly as the plan was set by Liesmala in the beginning - find the right musicians with enough will and skill to make INDEMON stand out.
INDEMON is influenced by bands such as Slayer, Sepultura, Entombed, and countless others. The music is heavy, aggressive, and respects the foundation laid out by legendary predecessors. However, INDEMON heavily focuses on creating its own distinctive sound and plans to be a force in the Finnish and European metal scene.
