Hard-hitting grunge punk band, Horsemeat, is back with their latest single "Bring It Down," their most mind-bendingly complex release to date.
Altrincham’s darkest sons deliver a track that journeys through a wild mix of psychedelic vibes, thrashy riffs, hardcore punk and anthemic rock that showcase the band's melting pot of influences. “Bring It Down” hits all streaming services on the 1st of September, complete with a bass heavy trip-hop remix as a B-side.
“Bring It Down” is the sound of a condensed bar fight, the trepidation of entering the lion’s den of testosterone filled, late night dives where one wrong move can land you in a world of pain. The stunning video, edited by Darren Stokes, captures the spirit of the song, blending images of “glitzy” nightclubs, animal fights, boxing and subliminal slogans as an homage to John Carpenter’s “They Live”.
The track was recorded with long time collaborator Simon “Ding” Archer at 6Db Studios in Salford and Mastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance East in Boston, MA. The remix was provided by friend of the band Guy Rowland.
