Wie anders dan de intrigerende Helga tijdens deze Halloween editie van de Evil Art Sessions. Ze brengt 'haunted' versies van nummers van haar beide EP's Nebulous (2018) en The Autumn Lament (2018) alsook een cover van dark triphop electro labelgenote Bonni Li. Alles in haar eigen onnavolgbare stijl...perfect passend bij de tijd van het jaar. Ik omschreef het vorig jaar nog als volgt: "Haar unieke mix van rock/metal/folk/dark pop/nu-goth/classical met een zeer donkere ondertoon roept de sfeer op van natuurelementen die de éne keer woest tekeer gaan en op andere momenten rustgevend werken."
Haar keuze voor deze sessies gaat naar die nummers die ingetogenheid en rust uitstralen.
Hopelijk kan ik Helga ooit eens live haar duivels zien en horen ontketenen.

"Hello, friends. I know it’s been quiet in the HELGA camp this year. It hasn’t been an easy year for many of us and as a creator it’s been challenging indeed. I hope you’re okay. No new music will be released this year, but we want to share our first ever LIVE SESSION for you all today. With love from our hearts.
