Dé ontdekking van 2021 was voor mij zonder twijfel de groep girlfriends. Met hun poppunk vibes en heerlijke songs wisten ze vanaf de eerste minuut mijn muziekhart te veroveren. Vandaag komt de groep met enorm goed nieuws. Na de release van hun self titled album girlfriends in 2020, laten ze nu weten een tweede album uit te brengen binnenkort. Op 17 juni kom (e)motion sickness uit. We kregen reeds twee voorproefjes en daar komen er nu maar liefst twee (!) bij. High Again is vrij rustige song met emotionele ondertoon terwijl Toaster For A Swim wat meer power bevat. Van beide spatten de poppunk vibes eraf en daar kunnen we alleen maar blij mee zijn!
