Darkspace is uniek in zijn genre. Dit kosmische trio exploreert al twee decennnia lang de donkerste uithoeken van de Melkweg en giet die reis in bevreemde, atmosferische nummers. Deze ruimtereizigers verschuilen zich tussen de Zwitserse bergen en treden nauwelijks live op. Wie geluk had, zag ze onlangs aan het werk op Samhain.
Met een laatste album dat uitkwam in 2008, laat nieuw werk al even op zich wachten. Tot nu. Darkspace lost een snippet uit ‘Dark -2.-2’, hun nieuwste album en tevens de titeltrack én het enige nummer op de plaat. Inderdaad, Dark -2.-2 bestaat uit één nummer van 47 minuten. Zei ik al dat de heren een unieke aanpak hebben?
