Ik leerde haar in 2005 kennen via haar debuut LP en was meteen weg van de stem en de combinatie van rock, soul en een tikkeltje blues. En plots verdween ze - voor mij toch - van de radar tot een dikke twee jaar terug. Nu staat deze fantastische zangeres er terug met een nieuwe EP waarop tussen 6 nummers ook deze Cheap High, een plezant americana 'rock' nummer dat erg goed in het gehoor ligt, gesneden koek voor de radio dus...en gezellig cruisen langs verlaten wegen.
