Een groep live zien en een week later getrakteerd worden op een nieuwe song; zo hebben we het graag! Na de release van Foxglove in april en Datura (dusk) eind vorige maand, was het in spanning afwachten op een vervolg. Dat kwam er sneller dan verwacht vorige week met Passenger, een fijne song met een catchy refrein. Daarmee hebben we intussen bijna de helft van het aankomende album Datura gehoord. Jawel, dat album zal slechts 7 liedjes tellen helaas. Daar is het echter nog op wachten tot 14 oktober!
Gitarist Mike Cunniff over de nieuwe song: “It's really one of our favorite songs on the record. We've been jamming it in rehearsals a little bit and it just works so well live. It was a very stripped back approach to writing as well. We didn't want to put too much stuff in it, which kind of leaves us feeling a little bit vulnerable and naked onstage, when there's not too many things going on. It was the last song we wrote and recorded for the record, the final piece of the puzzle".

Boston Manor exploded back onto the returning live music scene in 2021 with powerful sets at Download Pilot, Reading & Leeds and Slam Dunk Festivals, as well as a tour as main support to Neck Deep in North America. The band have hit the ground touring in 2022 with a sold out UK headline tour in February, hitting Brixton Electric in London, and a headline stint in North America. They were also main support to Neck Deep in Europe in between playing at numerous European and UK festivals this summer including Rock Am Ring and Download, with 2000Trees this weekend being the culmination of a busy run. Boston Manor are on tour with Alexisonfire on their UK and European tour this autumn.
