Drie jaar na de spaced out trip Moving Through Silence zijn de Bruggelingen klaar voor een nieuwe trip doorheen de cosmos. The Landing dekt misschien het best de avontuurlijke veelzijdigheid die het instrumentale trio kenmerkt. Loodzware, hypnotiserende riffs, een denderende ritmesectie tijdens de versnelling met afsluitend een knappe gitaarsolo. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat op vlak van stoner/desert/psych rock ons landje geen straffere band kent. Om internationaal brokken te maken moet de gekende sound misschien wat verruimd worden. Ik denk dan aan wat keyboards voor o.a. Monkey3 betekenen.
