Oeioei, zou deze Godsvruchtige jongedame het écht gedurfd hebben? En dan nog in het bijzijn van de moeder van haar lief? Inderdaad, mond met zeep spoelen, lieve Floridian! Natuurlijk heeft Ashley Cooke ons hier allemaal liggen: gene dikke vette FUCK, maar wel een smachtend 'forever'. Lief toch hé? Zo oogt en klinkt ze ook en dus laat ik met deze single uiterst commerciële countrypop aan bod komen. Omdat dit het soort c&w is dat steeds meer de weg naar ons landje lijkt te vinden. Cooke heeft zoals zovelen een mooie en best sterke stem, al meen ik toch hier en daar wat autotune te horen? Blijkt trouwens dat ze helemaal niet op haar mondje is gevallen. Laat jullie dus niet misleiden door de 'verpakking'.
