Absent In Body is terug! Vijf jaar na de release van hun EP 'The Abyss Stares Back - Vol. V', zijn Colin H. van Eeckhout, Mathieu Vandekerckhove en Scott Kelly terug. Vanaf heden worden ze bijgestaan door Iggor Cavalera. Wat een topcombinatie!
Vorige week wisten ze ons te verrassen met een nieuwe single 'The Acres/The Ache". Ruim acht minuten aan post- en sludge metal. Gepaste woorden vind ik niet. Ze zouden toch niet kunnen omschrijven welk gevoel AIB hier neerlegt. Een nummer die je gewoon móét horen en ondergaan. Het botst meerdere malen keihard in je gezicht en laat je uiteindelijk vol blauwe plekken achter. Heerlijk!
Met 'The Acres/The Ache' kondigen ze meteen de komst aan van hun debuutalbum 'Plague God' die op 25 maart 2022 zal verschijnen via Relapse Records.
