As fall is looming around the corner, the Antwerp line-up is nearing completion. We have another batch of exciting names that provide a little bit for everyone. Let’s delve in!
Desertfest has always been about exploring the realms and borders of the heavy, and that makes PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS PIGS a great fit. Coming up from the British noise underground, their appeal stretches from lovers of experimental rock to metalheads, and beyond. The Bell Witch offshoot STYGIAN BOUGH may be a harder sell with their lengthy and moody doom folk outings, but you can be sure your persistence will be rewarded.
From Holland we have scene veterans RADAR MEN FROM THE MOON with their headstrong strain of psych rock, and young upstarts SEVERANT who are fast making a name for themselves with their retro-infused psychedelia.
For more traditional but high quality doom flavours, look no further than UK’s ALUNAH, fresh off the boat with a new album, and the mysterious French occult outfit THE NECROMANCERS.
And with that, we have only a few names left to go for the Antwerp edition to be completed. Needless to say: tickets are going fast, and with the summer festival season coming to an end you can be sure they’ll be gone before you know it. Act fast!
