Priya Ragu's performance at Ancienne Belgique last Monday was a thoughtful blend of soulful melodies, vibrant rhythms, and infectious energy. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, Priya captivated the audience with her powerful vocals and magnetic stage presence. Priya effortlessly fused elements of her Sri Lankan heritage with contemporary sounds, creating a unique and refreshing musical experience, going from upbeat tracks that had the crowd dancing to more introspective songs. One of the highlights of the evening was when she stepped down to dance with the audience, trying to reach every corner of the room, altogether creating an unforgettable experience and a very uplifting way to start the week for everyone. The support act of the night was Cyra Gwynth, a Belgian singer, songwriter and actress with Dutch-Filipino roots that gained fame through her role in the Flemish television series Familie.
