Het Noorse Wig Wam is terug van weggeweest. De band rond vocalist Åge Sten Nilsen hield het, ondanks een vrij intense live reputatie, in 2014 even voor bekeken. Met vernieuwde krachten neemt hetzelfde gezelschap de draad terug op in hun vertrouwde energieke stijl. Met veel glam-uitstraling hadden ze met Never Say Die een passende titel om via YouTube hun terugkeer aan te kondigen.
Pittig gitaarwerk, veel melodie en passie in een arrangement dat smeekt om mee te headbangen, meer is er niet nodig om de boel te laten ontploffen. En dat gebeurt meerdere keren, zoals in het dreunende Shadows Of Eternity of in het aanstekelijke Kilimanjaro. Beiden nummers die, als we dat beestje klein gekregen hebben, live voor het nodige vuurwerk zullen zorgen. Een spattende productie werkt dit goed in de hand.
Daarnaast toont de band zich ook van een emotionele kant met het breekbare Where Does It Hurt. Met het instrumentale Northbound bewijzen ze dat, alhoewel de vocalist net vaak de lont aan het vuur steekt, de band ook zonder de opzwepende vocalen, veel passie kan brengen. Twaalf nummers, waar bijna elke keer het gaspedaal stevig ingedrukt wordt.
